Callum is an accomplished Scottish Winter climber with first ascents and repeats up to grade IX, 9. In Autumn 2022 Callum and four friends travelled to the Indian Kishtwar region of the Himalaya, spending three weeks in the Hagshu valley. The expedition culminated in the first ascent of Barnaj II East (6303m) by a new route on the north face (Seracnaphobia ED M5 AI4 1600m). In this talk Callum will share stories from his inaugural expedition to the Greater Ranges and what he learned from the experience.
The talk will be held at the Alpine Club's premises at 55 Charlotte Road, London, EC2A 3QF from 7PM on 23 January 2024.
