Jonathon will talk us through this Broad Peak expedition, the first time that the British Services have climbed on an 8000m peak in Pakistan since 1996. He will explore commercialisation of the mountains in the Karakoram and the impact that this is currently having on the mountaineering experience and trekking industry in that region.
The talk will be held at the Alpine Club's premises at 55 Charlotte Road, London, EC2A 3QF from 7PM on 12 March 2024.
