Leo Dickinson: Voices We Have Lost

Leo is a renowned cameraman, director and adventurer who has made well over 60 films, winning every major mountain and adventure film award. He specialises in mountain, ballooning, skydiving and underwater films.

During his mountaineering career, Leo has filmed climbs on a number of well-known mountains and interviewed many of the world's most famous mountaineering personalities. Most of these interviews remain unseen. Tonight he will share these filmed conversations featuring such luminaries as Doug Scott - Don Whillans - Joe Brown - Reinhold Messner - Peter Habeler - Ed Hillary - Anderl Heckmaier and Heinrich Harrer - Greg Child - Alison Hargreaves - Cesare Maestri - Eric Jones - Kurt Diemburger and of course the indomitable Ian Mac-Naught Davies.


The talk will be held at the Alpine Club's premises at 55 Charlotte Road, London, EC2A 3QF from 7PM on 13 February 2024.
