Mick Fowler is one of Britain's most successful and most prolific mountaineers. For several decades, he would travel to the greater ranges once a year and return with a first ascent on a remote, untrodden peak.

But Chombu (6,362m) in northern Sikkim is a different story. Mick has attempted the mountain with Victor Saunders on three occasions, all without success. In this lecture, Mick will detail those attempts and consider the unique difficulties of this still-unclimbed peak.
