Documentarian and author Mick Conefrey joins us to discuss his new book 'Everest 1922: The Epic Story of the First Attempt on the World's Highest Mountain'.
 
100 years on from the 1922 Everest Expedition, Mick will reflect on the politics behind this attempt and the tragic avalanche that brought it to an end.
 
The talk will be held at the Alpine Club's premises at 55 Charlotte Road, London, EC2A 3QF and, as always, non-members are welcome to attend but should book in advance by completing this Google form or by emailing This email address is being protected from spambots.
