The Alpine Club, the world’s first mountaineering club, was founded in 1857.  For over 150 years, members have been at the leading edge of worldwide mountaineering development and exploration.

With membership, experienced and aspiring alpinists benefit from a varied meets programme, regional lectures with notable guest speakers, reduced rates at many alpine huts, opportunity to apply for grants to support expeditions, significant discounts at many UK retailers, extensive networking contacts, access to the AC Library and maps - and more!

Tuesday 11 February 2025, 07:30pm - 09:30pm
Tuesday 11 February 2025

Father and son team Michael & Tom de Csilléry recently became the 3rd and 4th Brits to climb all 82 summits in the Alps above 4,000m. Key to their success was linking up summits on multi-day pushes on less frequented routes. Michael and Tom will share their experiences of completing the 82 as a father-son team focusing on big integrale routes such as the Brouillard Intégrale, Aiguille Verte - Les Droites link-up, Rochefort - Grandes Jorasses traverse and the Peuterey Intégrale.
