The Alpine Club, the world’s first mountaineering club, was founded in 1857.  For over 150 years, members have been at the leading edge of worldwide mountaineering development and exploration.

With membership, experienced and aspiring alpinists benefit from a varied meets programme, regional lectures with notable guest speakers, reduced rates at many alpine huts, opportunity to apply for grants to support expeditions, significant discounts at many UK retailers, extensive networking contacts, access to the AC Library and maps - and more!

Morocco Anti-Atlas Meet
From Tuesday 07 November 2023
To Saturday 18 November 2023
Contact Malcolm Streeton & Charlene Gibson
Tuesday 07 November 2023

The best place to be when it is getting cold and damp in Britain is our regular trip to the Moroccan Anti-Atlas.

This area has near constant sunny and dry weather, fantastic trad rock climbing on solid quartzite, friendly people and great food.

It is easy to get to via a direct flight to Agadir.

The trip will be split between the Kasbah Tizougane for climbing in the Northern area and a hotel in Tafraout in the South.

Main costs will be around £200 for flights, £300 for accommodation (some half-board) and £150 for hire cars and fuel. Allow a further £100 spending money for other food and drinks.

Full details to be added later.

A total of 12 places are available.
