The Alpine Club, the world’s first mountaineering club, was founded in 1857.  For over 150 years, members have been at the leading edge of worldwide mountaineering development and exploration.

In Autumn 2016 Rebecca Coles and Simon Verspeak made an ascent of Lasarmula (6246m) in the Humla region of the far west of Nepal. In this talk she will give an illustrated account of the expedition.
