The Alpine Club, the world’s first mountaineering club, was founded in 1857.  For over 150 years, members have been at the leading edge of worldwide mountaineering development and exploration.

Robert Durran: Adventures in Wadi Rum

SMC member Robert (Bob) Durran will describe his Adventures in Wadi  Rum. Bob’s main area will be Jordan, however, his ascent of the Eiger and the Cohen route on the Pic Sans Nom in the Mt Blanc range will also be touched upon.
