The Alpine Club, the world’s first mountaineering club, was founded in 1857. For over 150 years, members have been at the leading edge of worldwide mountaineering development and exploration.
With membership, experienced and aspiring alpinists benefit from a varied meets programme, regional lectures with notable guest speakers, reduced rates at many alpine huts, opportunity to apply for grants to support expeditions, significant discounts at many UK retailers, extensive networking contacts, access to the AC Library and maps - and more!Becoming a Member

Riasg (‘The Boggy Place’) is an excellent centre for Ben Nevis and the major climbing centres of the West coast of Scotland. Glen Coe is a 35 minute drive.
Contact David to book a place. Hut details are on the CC website www.climbers-club.co.uk.
Other things being equal (i.e. assuming I do not get a better offer once again). I plan to be there about about a day or two beforehand and for the following week. I would hope to arrange access to the CIC Hut courtesy of the S.M.C. Please contact me if these add on's are of interest.
If interested and for further details contact the coordinator:
