The Alpine Club, the world’s first mountaineering club, was founded in 1857.  For over 150 years, members have been at the leading edge of worldwide mountaineering development and exploration.

With membership, experienced and aspiring alpinists benefit from a varied meets programme, regional lectures with notable guest speakers, reduced rates at many alpine huts, opportunity to apply for grants to support expeditions, significant discounts at many UK retailers, extensive networking contacts, access to the AC Library and maps - and more!

Dates:

Details:
This is a camping meet set in the heart of Dartmoor. The plan is to go to the best spots in the area, the highlights include the Dewerstone & Chudleigh Rocks which offer granite and limestone classics, accommodating a range of grades and multi pitch routes. Also available are countless Tors offering shorter, more exposed granite climbing depending on weather and everyone's wishes. All accessible with a short drive from the campsite (Plume of Feathers, Princetown).

The plan will be to all go to the same crags on the same days in order to stay as a group, with a group meal on the Saturday evening in the pub attached to the campsite.

Total cost: Camping starts at £8.50 pppn for a tent, payable direct to the site. Local B&Bs available.
