The Alpine Club, the world’s first mountaineering club, was founded in 1857.  For over 150 years, members have been at the leading edge of worldwide mountaineering development and exploration.

 Mountaineering and climbing in Kenya - an insight into the joys, challenges and contrasts of an expedition close to the equator: Richard Nadin AC membership secretary and Nicholas Smith AC assistant meets officer and aspirant meet coordinator talk about their trip to Kenya in February 2019. Besides a 9 day trip to Mount Kenya they climbed with members of the Masai and Samburu tribes in Hell’s Gate and Ololokwe.
