The Alpine Club, the world’s first mountaineering club, was founded in 1857.  For over 150 years, members have been at the leading edge of worldwide mountaineering development and exploration.

With membership, experienced and aspiring alpinists benefit from a varied meets programme, regional lectures with notable guest speakers, reduced rates at many alpine huts, opportunity to apply for grants to support expeditions, significant discounts at many UK retailers, extensive networking contacts, access to the AC Library and maps - and more!

AC Oberland Meet 2019
From Saturday 29 June 2019
To Saturday 13 July 2019
Saturday 29 June 2019
Early-season meet for all members.  The emphasis will be on routes in the PD-AD grades, providing a relatively comfortable environment for aspirants and others seeking to extend their alpine CV, but members seeking more challenging objectives are more than welcome.

We will be meeting in Kanderstag and likely moving on to the central Oberland area later in the trip.
