The Alpine Club, the world’s first mountaineering club, was founded in 1857.  For over 150 years, members have been at the leading edge of worldwide mountaineering development and exploration.

Adele Long

A team of five men and one woman ventured up the Mulung Tokyo valley to attempt one or more of the unclimbed mountains near its end. Dogged by unprecedented bad weather, objectives were changed. And just when they thought it was all over, the adventure was about to begin.
