Tuesday 31 October 2017David will talk about the third leg of his multi-year project to make a winter ski crossing of the entire Alpine chain from the Mediterranean to Vienna. Starting in Bergun on 8th Feb and ending in Schaldming on 28th March this was a journey of 35 stages completed over 49 days. The route crossed the Engadin, Silvretta, Otztal, Stubai, Zillertal, Hohe Tauern, and Niedre Tauern ranges logging a distance of 746km with 39,800m of ascent, in a year with less than average snow cover.
