The Alpine Club, the world’s first mountaineering club, was founded in 1857.  For over 150 years, members have been at the leading edge of worldwide mountaineering development and exploration.

Dave will tell the story of Climbing the 52 independent mountains of the Alps (Collomb list), which he completed in 2007, and writing the book of that title inspired by writing the article that appeared in the AJ of 2009.
